| Academic Achievements | • Served as the DST-FIST Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator for the DST-FIST Project for PG Colleges, Level A – 2023 at Sree Narayana College, Sivagiri, Varkala. • Coordinated the implementation of the DST-FIST project, which resulted in the establishment and strengthening of a Central Instrumentation Facility for the college. • Coordinated the procurement and establishment of major scientific instrumentation under the project, creating advanced analytical facilities for teaching, student projects and research activities. • Contributed to making sophisticated analytical instrumentation available to students and researchers within the institution, strengthening the research infrastructure of the college. • Coordinated the mapping of the Central Instrumentation Facility and its facilities to the I-STEM (Indian Science, Technology and Engineering Facilities Map) portal, thereby facilitating the visibility and accessibility of the college's scientific infrastructure through the national platform. Teaching and Learning • Introduced Virtual Laboratory experiments to B.Sc. Chemistry students to supplement conventional practical education. • Used ICT-enabled teaching, LCD/computer-based classes and smart-board teaching for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. • Developed and provided notes, assignments, reading materials, laboratory manuals and additional learning resources for students. • Adopted technology-based teaching methods, reducing the cost of teaching aids by approximately 50%. • Used animated videos and multimedia presentations to make online and classroom learning more engaging. • Introduced and promoted virtual methods for teaching Chemistry. • Conducted IIT-JAM coaching for UG students from S N Colleges in different universities Student Mentoring and Research Guidance • Provided internal mentoring classes to undergraduate students from different departments. • Served as tutor for B.Sc. Chemistry students in 2023. • Coordinated a scientific visit to Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, with 25 students of the Science Club in 2022.
